LYNN, Ind. — A Randolph County man allegedly told an Ohio woman that he was tired of masturbating to photos he secretly took of her showering. So he drove her across state lines to a trailer in Lynn where he allegedly raped her.

Chris Lamar Moore of Lynn is charged with rape, a Level 1 felony, in addition to felony charges of criminal confinement and possession of meth and narcotic drugs. He also faces misdemeanor charges of battery and making an unlawful proposition.

According to court documents, the victim told police the alleged crime occurred on Jan. 7 at a trailer located on S. Cherry Street in Lynn.

The victim said she lived in an apartment complex in Dayton, Ohio, where Moore also rented an apartment. The victim said she met Moore around March of last year and would sometimes purchase marijuana from him.

Prior to the alleged rape, the victim said Moore had a history of propositioning her for sex and once even took photographs of her showering without her knowledge.

On Jan. 7, Moore reportedly offered to give the victim a ride to McDonald’s and the store but instead drove her across state lines to his trailer in Lynn. He claimed he had to pick up something from his trailer and invited the victim inside to see the place.

The victim said once inside, Moore gave her a pill that made her slide off the chair.

He reportedly told the victim, “you are mine, you are my girl” and said he was going to have sex with her with or without her cooperating.

The victim said she tried to get away several times to no avail before Moore forced her into his bedroom and raped her.

The victim told police she believed Moore’s assault was planned because he told her he was tired of masturbating to photographs he’d taken of her. She told police she hadn’t known at the time that he’d taken pictures of her showering but later heard from a friend that Moore had photos of her naked in the shower.

The victim ended up sketching out the layout of Moore’s trailer for investigators and provided the clothes she’d been wearing at the time of the alleged rape.

Investigators said testing revealed that Moore’s DNA was on the victim’s underwear. DNA linked to the victim was also found on the blanket taken from the bed in Moore’s trailer, court documents reveal.

Police would also later find photographs on Moore’s phone that showed the victim in his Lynn trailer. A video was also found on Moore’s phone where he talked about taking the victim into his “f***ing room.”

Court records reveal that Moore was arrested on April 17 after a warrant was issued for his arrest. He bonded out of jail, however, after paying a $7,000 bond.

Court documents reveal that the victim said Moore always had large sums of cash on him. When police searched his trailer in Lynn, investigators reported finding 13 grams of meth.
